Gamedrive

On Monday Lena, Anne, Chris and me went to Inverdoorm a gamelodge. We started super early 5:30. After picking the others up and some more hours drive we arrived at Inverdoorn half past nine. An hour later our safari started!! It was just awesome!! We saw cheetahs and lions and zebras and giraffs.... it was just wow !!! Only the hippos and rhinos hide.
But we had a super duper 3 hour gamedrive.
After that we had a nice lunch their and 2hours at the pool before we left inverdoorn.

Haha und nach 20km Schotterpiste und weiteren 50km waren wir wieder annähernd in der Zivilisation!!

Super duper day!!

Duiker Island and Noongun

Today (13.01.2010) we went to Duiker Island or Seal Island how it is also called. it was a short trip but we had fun,saw a lot of seals and met some funny persons^^
After our cruise to the seals. We went to the bo-kaap it's not big but we got lost on our way to the noongun like 3 times. At the end we arrived at the noongun 2 minutes to 12.... huuuu glück gehabt.

Cape Point

Heute wollte wir hoch auf den Tafelberg wander, doch wie auch schon an unseren letzten Offtagen an denen Tafelberg geplant war, war das wetter mal wieder nicht perfekt für einen walk auf den table mountain . So we decided to do a capetour. So we drove over the chapmans peak went to the beach in northhoek and then direktly to the cape. We walk up to the lighthouse! Of course we walked we are not one of the lazy tourist who drove with the "train" up. On the way from Cape point to the Cape of good hope we saw a lot of big birds. we thougt of taking one with us for dinner :) hehe yummie a nice oustrich steak... but we a nice guys so we decided not to take one with us ^^
And last but not least I saw something what I was waiting for for almost 5 month!!!

MY FIRST BABOONS!! hehe but they where like 20 meters away... :(
What ever it was a nice day.
But when we arrived back in town it started raining :( ihhhhhhh not so nice!!

Off tag??? Surfen!!!

Heute war ein schöner sonniger tag und wir hatten frei da anne grad in der Stadt ist fuhren wir zu dritt nach muizenberg um zu surfen. Nach gut 2h auf dem wasser brett grade wieder abgegeben ... hörte man sirenen heulen...ich eigentlich schon wieder auf dem weg ins wasser naja das war dann ein satz mit x.... die Sirene war nicht von polizei oder Krankenwagen ...Nein das war der HaiAlarm!!!

NAchdem in den letzten wochen sich sehr viele Haie in der False bay tummeln ist man dann doch etwas vorsichtiger.... Vorallem Nachdem vor 2 Wochen erst ein Urlauber im nichtmal 2m tiefen Wasser von einem weißen Hai angegriffen bzw gefressen wurde.

Nun ja wir sind dann weiter nach Llandudno gefahren der strand dort ist eh schöner... ;)
