The day of "little boy"
On August the 6th in the year 1945 a b-29 Bomber started its voyage from the Tinian and flew North West towards his final Destination: Hiroshima.
The commander of the Bomber Colonel Paul Tibbets was from the 509th Composite Group. He and his group were the people to full fill this dangerous and deadly mission. They risked there lives to safe thousands of American soldiers.
At about 8.15 they were over Hiroshima and dropped there loaded atomic bomb called “little boy”.
When the commander looked back at the city from the plain he said: "The city was hidden by that awful cloud . . . boiling up, mushrooming, terrible and incredibly tall,"
