Eine unbequeme Wahrheit

Unmissverständlich zeigt der Film, worin sich führende internationale Wissenschaftler inzwischen einig sind: Die Folgen der globalen Erwärmung werden katastrophal sein. Fluten, Dürren, Epidemien und tödliche Hitzewellen von bisher unbekanntem Ausmaß kommen auf uns zu. Und all dies ist weder Science Fiction noch liegt es in weiter Ferne. Wenn wir der selbst verschuldeten Katastrophe entgehen wollen, müssen wir unseren Kurs ändern - sofort. Wir haben noch zehn Jahre Zeit.

Dennoch ist Eine unbequeme Wahrheit alles andere als eine aussichtslose Endzeitprophezeihung. Mit großem Engagement beseitigt Al Gore Missverständnisse und Mythen, die einem nachhaltigen, ökologischen Verhalten entgegenstehen.
