lost in the winelands^^

On our OFFday me and chris wanted to make a tour to stellenbosch,paarl & franschhoek. We decided not to start in paarl how it should be normal ...no we decided first to go to muizenberg because we want to learn how to surf... and for that we wanted some information about all the costs... so we first went to muizenberg and relaxed for an hour on the beach and then wentto stellenbosch. In stellenbosch the funny part of the story began. I really thougt that I know all the directions but after a while we got lost for the first time but a few minutes later i knew exactly where we were... so we decided to have a look at the University and the campus becuase both of us are thinking about studying in SA. So we got lost the second time on the campus ... after a long walk we finally found the way and the information centre but it was closed because we were too late!! =(
after all the walking and getting lost we were pretty hungry so i choose Col 'catchio as the perfect place for having dinner and i knew where it was...so we drove there this time without getting lost!!! but shit happens no parking spaces at all....so we went on driving to paarl ... on the way to paarl we decided that we are too hungry to do anything else but eating so we turnd the car around and wanted to go to campsbay cause there is also a col' catchio... on the way back to the N2 we got lost again......

So please never believe me again when i tell u i know the directions or a city!!
But finally we found our way back home and ate a delicious pizza in camps bay!!

A long walk home

Today Anke and me went to the Green point market. It was pretty cool to see all the stuff u can buy there. A lot of Giraffs made out of wood ^^ !!!!
After the market we decide to walk a bit on the beachpromenade. We had a lot of fun and where almost the whole time talking.." wie ein Wasserfall" ^^
So we walked from Green Point to Seapoint hat a little rest at seapoint and then decided to walk back to greenpoint and then take a cab home. That was the idea!!! We actually walked the whole way from Seapoint the the V&A Waterfront. There anke said lets take one of the minibuses...^^ hehe so 2 german girl in a minibus with 12 black people staring at us because you dont see it that often...^^
But we had fun!!

Weekend in Somerset West

The last weekend I was in Somerset again but this time not just for visiting. They had a function on Saturday, which was a 21st Birthday. Sounds like a lot of fun but actually it wasn't. They had a DJ and a big dancefloor, but instead of dancing and having a nice party they were sitting at the bar playing chess.^^ Isn't it weird. What ever they like^^
On sunday we had bookings for sunday lunch for 50persons a lot of stress but also fun and after the guests left we decide to jump in the pool!!! Awesome!!!!

The day ended with Lena, Anne and me on signal Hill don't ask how we get there. But I can tell you we had a lot of fun!!!!

Muizenberg

Tuesday, nice weather, late shift... what can we do???

Let's go to Muizenberg!!
So we decided to go to Muizenberg on Tuesday morning and go surfing!!!
I took a lesson and learned how to surf!
--> I had a lot of fun :)
--> I drank a lot of the salty water :(
--> My Teacher doest look ugly ^^
But now i feel like a old lady because my arms hurt you can't believe it!!!
MUSKELKATER!!! arghh hatte ich lange keinen mehr!! ^^

Daytrip to langebaan

After a lot of streetworks and traffic we arrived in langebaan after a more than 2h drive. We were all very excited because we knew that langebaan is the place where all the Wind &Kitesurfers are....
But that was all... a little town witha small beach with a lot of Kitesurfers.
IRGENDWO IM NIRGENDWO!!

Naja wie auch immer wir beschlossen dann kurze zeit später in richtung einer der NAtionalparks zu fahren die dort in der Nähe sind, und es lohnte sich. Ob Zebras und Springböcke über Strauße und Schlangen wir wurden nicht enttäuscht.... NEben den vielen Tieren fanden wir dort dann auch einen wunderschönen Strand an dem wir erst mal ein Mittagsschläfchen von 2h gehalten haben bevor es dann um halb sech dann wieder in richtung heimat ging.

Alles in allem.... zu lange fahrt aber es hat sich gelohnt.
